This hotel has some positives and negatives. The carpets could use a good cleaning, and the bar downstairs was really noisy with music until about 10:30 pm. The photograph which they advertise the property on their website is some 16 years old and not indicative of whatit is really like. Great Hotel, Luckily we got a great room overlooking the river, compared to some of the other wedding guests (thats why we were there). The room was large with high ceilings, a large bathroom and a gorgeous metal bed. There was also a single bed there which was very handy due to the wedding. The Embankment Hotel has to be the worst hotel we have ever stayed in. The bedroom looked like something from the 50's and this was probably when it was last decorated, the bathroom resembled a prison bathroom, paint was flaking off everywhere and was as ancient as the rest of the decor.
