Stayed here a few times when in the area on business and have loved my stay every time. The rooms are lovely and each has its own character but the stables I stayed in last was lovely and bright, huge bed and amazing bathroom. The host and staff are always welcoming and friendly and in the colder months they have... More

Unfortunately my flight was delayed and I was unable to call within 48 hours UK time. It was 48 hours my time but I was still charged the full night stay. The owner was uncooperative. I would never book at this place again. It is far out of the city and aninconvient location for sight seeing.

Stayed for a couple of nights in the cottage 2 doors away. It was a shame we werent there longer it was beautiful with a thatched roof, lovely garden and lots of garden furniture and very private too. It was shame you couldnt use kitchen facilities as for a longer stay for people with children it would be an advantage.... More

I stay in Bedford a lot with work and to date this has been the nicest by far. They have lovely rooms and the building is full of character. Beds are comfortable, showers excellent and the location is relaxing and quiet. It is a short journey into Bedford and you are surrounded by farmland with lots of footpaths so great... More

The name of this hotel gives its location away!!! Its in a quite location adjacent to a cornfield and away from the village. The rooms are in an adjacent building, they are classy with lots of style. The main hotel is a quant old inn with bags of character. The host is excellent with a friendly welcome. The inn is... More

I visit regularly and enjoy the spacious rooms with own front door. Large beds and rural views make this a comfortable and tranquil place to stay. Food excellent and freshly prepared by the owners whilst Graham is your welcoming host always willing to go that extra mile. Tall guests - watch your head! The restaurant's bar has low ceilings!

My partner and I stayed at Cornfields as a valentines day treat. From the moment we arrived until the moment we left I couldn't fault it. Our room, with a four poster bed, was tastefully decorated with a large ensuite bathroom. It was a bit cold when we arrived but it soon warmed up with the help of an additional... More

Visited for a celebration meal, just four people but what an excellent meal. Very attentive and friendly staff, fabulous food and VERY reasonably priced. Could not fault it. There are two restaurant areas as well as a bar, the setting is old England. Wonderful original paintings to view while waiting for your meal.
