Stayed over Easter weekend for a competition we were attending. Lovely spacious room, with everything we needed ie could make a cup of both earl grey and mint tea, plus a much needed bottle of water! Ate both nights in restaurant. Fabulous food - hazelnut pud was super! Thank you.

Been 3 or 4 times now to Cornfields, but not sure I would return for a fifth. Unlike the previous visits (which by the way I would rate a good four rating), this time found the restaurant to be lacking customers. There were only 2 other tables dining other than ourselves for the entire evening. This meant it lacked atmosphere.... More

Partner suprised me with a trip to Bedford , staying at Cornfields. Very friendly welcome however couldn't find the front door to start with. Walked into a lovely house with a bar and a fire. Owners were really kind and shared a joke with us and promptly showed us to our room. We stayed in Dovecote which is one of... More

Great dining experience. Cosy snug lounge to sit and have a drink whilst choosing from the extensive menu. Attention to detail whilst waiting for meal olives, bread etc. perfect. Great service very traditional. Quality of food outstanding. Will come again. Thank you.

Hmm let me think, what was the best part of my stay, incidentally i have stayed many times and have never been disappointed. The rooms are a treat, spacious and in a log cabins, each individual and well appointed, dare I say the shower is fab!!!! A rain shower in each room. The owner graham is a pleasant host, he... More

We were the only people in the bar and there was only one other when we went into the restaurant. Last time I visited a few years ago it was buzzing but now the emphasis seems more on the rooms with the restaurant serving reasonable food to the guests.

We have been here a few times, and each time we have not been disappointed. The food is first class, the service is first class, the variety of choices is first class, and the prices are reasonable. Nothing negative at all about Cornfields. Everything positive.

Stayed here a few times when in the area on business and have loved my stay every time. The rooms are lovely and each has its own character but the stables I stayed in last was lovely and bright, huge bed and amazing bathroom. The host and staff are always welcoming and friendly and in the colder months they have... More

Unfortunately my flight was delayed and I was unable to call within 48 hours UK time. It was 48 hours my time but I was still charged the full night stay. The owner was uncooperative. I would never book at this place again. It is far out of the city and aninconvient location for sight seeing.

Stayed for a couple of nights in the cottage 2 doors away. It was a shame we werent there longer it was beautiful with a thatched roof, lovely garden and lots of garden furniture and very private too. It was shame you couldnt use kitchen facilities as for a longer stay for people with children it would be an advantage.... More
