We booked a superior room with a river view. The room we were shown into: The carpet looked as if a tractor had been over it. The view of the river was obstructed by a ventilation duct. We were offered a standard room with a river view. We were badly affected by a wedding party, although they did offer us... More

We booked as a last minute get away for the spa. The spa is very small but the treatments were really good. The hotbtub can really only fit 5 people. If we had not booked treatments we would have been disappointed with the spa facilities. Our room was a good size and had modern decor. Breakfast was part of our... More

Me and my family stayed in this hotel for a weekend break. We included afternoon tea on the first day of our stay which was pretty reasonable for the price. I can't complain about the quality and amount of food provided. If you can't finish it all (we were stuffed half way through! Gutted) but no fear! Ask them to... More

Me and some work colleagues went for afternoon tea at the Swan a couple of weeks ago. I wasn't going to review it but feel like I should. There where 5 of us and we where seated at a large round table with plenty of room. We decided to have the sandwiches first rather than it all come out together.... More

We stayed here on Saturday night and had a nice time here. We checked in around 230pm and it was quite busy with people having afternoon tea (which looked really nice but we didn't fancy it so went to Baja instead - see separate review). We went to the spa and then went downstairs for dinner around 8pm but it... More

I stayed for just one night, as I was attending an event at The Quarry Theatre. When I checked in, I was disappointed to learn that breakfast wasn't included and cost an extra £14.95 for cooked breakfast. A shocking price, which I wasn't prepared to pay. On booking a fortnight earlier, I was disappointed to see car parking at the... More
