Having had to give a time for our arrival we arrived in the road but could not locate the house as we were told the sign had blown down. The exterior was very run down and dirty. On being shown our room we had to pass several banisters full of drying bedding with some washing dumped at the bottom of... More

I recently stayed here for 2 days. We arrived a little late but the owners were only too happy to accommodate for us, even giving us a full weekend parking permit for the road outside (saving us a few quid in parking, the area its in is pay and display). The room was a twin and was very clean with... More

I've never stayed in a B&B before only hotels, but was pleasantly surprised, the house is very homely, clean and cosy and after reading past posts I presume it must of been recently decorated. My room was a single room which I shared with my young daughter and it was of good size, modern and clean. The owners are naturally... More

We booked a room for Saturday night and arrived around the time we had specified on the booking. When we arrived there was no-one there, after waiting and calling several times we had to leave. We continued to call throughout the day and got no answer. Eventually we had to make other arrangements. We did get a call at 10.30pm... More

First of all, i have never written anything bad in a review, until now. I was booked in for 3 nights through work as all hotels where full due to the grand prix. I arrived late at 8pm, not realizing that you have to check in between 2pm and 7pm, however that was my employers fault for not telling me,... More

The rooms are spacious and extremely comfortable, and though the place is a bit dated it does not affect the quality of your stay. Good breakfast in the morning, good location, and the nicest owner I've ever met. Would recommend!

Initial impressions were good with a very warm welcome from the host. The place is a little tatty and very dated, but comfy and mostly clean (there was an empty pop bottle in the corner of the room and tea facilities hadn't been refreshed). Slightly disappointing to find breakfast is self service continental, but still managed a good feed!
