This has to be the worst premier inn room we have ever stayed in. The room was apparently Easy access but I'm not sure who it is designed for. The bed was too low to allow ease of getting in and out of and was so uncomfortable. The room is right next to reception so we got to listen to... More

We were greeted by a very warm and welcoming lady on reception who could not have been more professional and informative (thank you). The hotel itself unfortunately had a fairly tired look which was echoed in our room. There was also a slight smell of smoke and the bathroom door rubbed the toilet seat as it opened. These elements along... More

Usual standard of Premier Inn room although the bathroom smelled quite strongly of damp. We had a very quiet room but it was quite a trek to get to through the various corridors. Bed very comfy and black out curtains ensured a good nights sleep. Not the biggest of car parks but we did manage to find a space. We... More

Stayed overnight on our way back home from a holiday in Scotland to break up the journey. Very friendly staff on reception when we arrived and also on our departure. The first time we have stayed in a Premier Inn with a room with more than 1 chair, well done, the little attention to details like this made our stay... More

Stayed here when travelling up to north Scotland. Arrived late on a Friday night and realised the hotel is attached to a etc busy noisy bar which was a worry with a 16 month old however no noise could be heard from the hotel rooms which was a relief. At breakfast the next morning the buffer was fine however there... More

Handy if the central Premier Inn is full. Nice welcome and easy check in. Decent parking on site. Good for local food and supermarket. Easy access to the M6. Room was clean as expected with it being a Premier Inn

Stayed here for two nights with my husband and in-laws. Room was basic and clean. Could do with a refurbishment. We used the restaurant which was like being in the middle of a football match. In the second night my in laws were woken by partying guests at 11pm then again at 3am. Staff were attentive to the situation and... More

Reasonable cost but room less than clean-2+1 in a family room for 3 nights, bath not cleaned while we were there. Bathroom generally run down and in poor condition. Breakfasts OK but poorly supplied with fruit etc. and not good value. The fact that you cannot reserve a table in the restaurant is a pain. When you have travelled for... More

This hotel is useful for travellers on the M6, staying one or two nights. It's always extremely clean, with friendly, helpful staff, although Premiere rooms are almost always too warm, with no aircon. Unfortunately, Whitbread seem to have themed the adjoining pub/restaurant to the local audience, with a menu that's a model of vulgarity - probably best avoided unless you're... More

We had a family room (2 singles & a Double bed) in a wing set aside for families (with an evening quiet time posted on the doors). We have 2 teenage boys, but this would be great for families with younger kids. Bed s were very comfortable, although the rooms weren't that big. The staff were very attentive and helpful.
