Stayed here for three nights. The good points: Very clean everywhere.Nice bathroom with shower.Plenty of towels.Lovely big bed and nice squashy pillows.Nice and quiet for a good nights sleep. The bad points: No lift. No air con.The vending machine in the foyer is a rip off- £1.20 for a small bottle of water! My real complaint is with the restaurant... more

Have stayed here a number of times. The rooms are the 'standard' Premier Inn rooms you will find anywhere & I always find the reception staff are pleasant & welcoming. Although some may not think it as 'central' as the title may suggest it is the most central of the various premier inns in or around Carlisle. more

Stayed with my family and have to say it was great for the Kids. Had a big soft play area and my 8 yr old loved Brewster the Bear!! The kids got a free breakfast too which i wasnt expecting. The rooms were nothing special but did the job and were pretty clean. The restaurant was a just a generic... more

Ok, I have stayed here a few times. As the other reviews say it's nothing special. Rooms are clean-ish.....apart from the carpets being a funny colour but i think that's down to age and them being too tight to replace them. Sometimes the baths can be a bit manky too. Rooms are made up everyday by the cleaner, whom I... more

The hotel is easy to find of the M6 and is close to the town centre. If you have stayed in a Premier inn before then your know that they are all the same. Very comfy beds and pillows that your head melts into. I found that this hotel room was not as clean as other rooms i have stayed... more

The premier Inn was the perfect hotel for a night stopover for busy sightseeing tourists. The room was a clean modern basic comfortable hotel room with a decent bathroom and with all standard amenities at a pretty fair price. We had a very nice dinner in the restaurant which we could not fault. Breakfast was also very good. We would... more

The hotel is very basic, but does it's job. It is good value and the rooms are acceptable (clean and quite comfortable) There is a brewers fayre next door which provides very basic food but its ok for a light bite and caters well for kids. Reception is open 24 hours which is handy. Overall its a good hotel, but... more

Stayed in this hotel in July. It was easy to find and on the main road into Carlisle. It was a clean, quiet hotel, nothing really to shout about. We didn't eat at the adjoining Brewers Fayre restaurant so can't comment on that. There is Tesco nearby with a cafe. more
