Have stayed here a number of times.The rooms are the 'standard' Premier Inn rooms you will find anywhere & I always find the reception staff are pleasant & welcoming. The hotel is very basic, but does it's job. It is good value and the rooms are acceptable (clean and quite comfortable) There is a brewers fayre next door which provides very basic food but its ok for a light bite and caters well for kids. Stayed in this hotel in July. It was easy to find and on the main road into Carlisle. It was a clean, quiet hotel, nothing really to shout about. We didn't eat at the adjoining Brewers Fayre restaurant so can't comment on that. There is Tesco nearby with a cafe. more
