A little gem for both an overnight stopover or a longer duration. It's a great location with a fabulous welcome from a lovely couple. As Arnie says - I'll be back ! And that won't be too long ! Nice clean spotless room and bathroom. Breakfast was delightful. A warm welcome upon arrival

Sue and Warren could not do enough for me. What fantastic hosts! It is because of lovely people like them that make me stay in B&Bs across the country, rather than the sterile chains. I highly recommend this B&B, whether for businesses or pleasure. You won't be disappointed. I stayed 4 nights in their single room, which was more than... More

I stayed here recently and have to say that there was nothing I could really fault. The owners are nice , friendly and gave good information about the local area amenities such as where to eat, local supermarkets and petrol stations etc. The B&B itself is well maintained, clean , tidy and has a cosy feel, with adequate parking on... As a self employed courier, I needed a place to stay last minute before driving to Dundee the following day. I found this place on late rooms and decided to book due it's closeness to the M6. For the price I was paying, I wasn't expecting too much. How wrong I was!! From the lovely warm welcome from Warren (the... More

Sue and Warren are lovely, attentive, welcoming and helpful. The place is very clean. The lounge is a great space and the free wifi is a real bonus. We booked late and were really pleased to have somewhere to go. There are a few things that, had they been in place, would have assured a 5* rating: Mattresses in our... More

Thank you for your review regarding your stay at Crossroads House, and the comments you made, we are already addressing the issues you raised. However I do have to take issue about the information regarding the Bath/Shower facilities, as nowhere doe's it say the Family Room as en suite facilities, it actually says, and these are Booking.com words "The bathroom... Stayed here recently for 3 nights. Impressed with the cleanliness and the lovely breakfasts. The hosts were very welcoming and we appreciated their advice and assistance with our sightseeing plans. The local pub ' The Plough Inn' provided us with great evening food. Enjoyed our stay at Crossroads very much.

We came down to Carlisle for our niece's graduation ceremony & everything about this lovely little B&B was absolutely perfect. From the moment we arrived nothing was too much trouble and rather than let us pay for taxis the owners gave us a ride to Carlisle centre. Would recommend 100%

I stayed here overnight after riding down from Fort William on route to my home in Mid Wales. I was given a good welcome and made to feel that nothing was to much to make my stay top class, and I have to say they I could find no fault with the premises or the service I recieved. The room... More
