Beware of traffic noise from rooms facing main road if you are wanting a good nights sleep. The weather and room was warm and there was no air conditioning so we had to open the window. We were not offered a reduction in costs either which I would have expected in this instance.Ask for a room at the back and you... More

We stayed at this Travel Lodge for an overnight stop on the way home from Scotland. The hotel was clean, quiet and everything you would expect from a Travel Lodge. Take away food can be bought from Greggs, M&S or even a pasty bar at the service station. The Burger king as usual was grossly overpriced and should be avoided.... More

Booked 4 rooms here while travelling with family to Leeds. Looks dated but everything was clean and comfortable. Could probably do with a lift for older guests but apart from that rooms were fine. We had the £22 meal deal and this was very good value and everyone thoroughly enjoyed both dinner and breakfast.

very good overnight stay on our way to visit family in Scotland, staff friendly and hotel quite considering the location (even with our window open) although we were facing the back of the hotel, easy to find, breakfast good too

Could not find a parking space and had a child with me so had to walk all around the building late at night with suitcases and no walk way. Very good otherwise and happy with service. Premier Inns are always my choice of where to stay.

Stayed overnight here on way north. This is one of the friendliest hotels we have ever stayed in. All the staff, without exception, were very friendly, helpful, accommodating, and at great pains to make our stay as pleasant as possible. Dinner in the Thyme Restaurant was first class. Hotel is perhaps a bit tired and dated, but that did not... More

Stayed here with my two daughters, 2 and 6, on our way home from Scotland. The staff were all really helpful, welcoming and friendly. The room was clean and we had three bears beds! (Large, medium and small!) Which meant we all slept well. Facilities were all clean but a little worn, which didn't matter. We ate in the restaurant,... More

Ok bad points first - it looks awful from outside, it looks tired inside. The rooms are fine but noisy, we could hear the children next door and they didn't sleep well! It was really hot, come on premier inn - Aircon please not a sad noisy half wrecked fan between three of us. The lady on the desk was... More

We stayed here for just one night as a stop over on our way to Scotland. This would appear to be one of the older Premier Inn Hotels and was rather dated within the hotel. The Thyme Restaurant located next door, however, was lovely and the food was really good. Didn't have a great night's sleep as unfortunately the Eddie... More
