Stayed 3 nights in April on Business, Have really enjoyed every aspect of my stay. Very warm and friendly hosts, great breakfasts, very comfortable room. short stroll into City Centre, where I was working, and an even shorter stroll to a nearby pub, for evening meal, decent pint and live sports. What more could a bloke wish for? I am happy... More

Went here for business and wanted a friendly stay rather than a corporate one. The guest house is lovely - a home from home. The owners are very welcoming and make you feel part of the family. My only regret is not staying longer. Even more - I could see my place of work from the guest house! Parking is... More

Stayed 1 night on our cycle tour Of HWC. Arrived very wet and received a very warm reception. Our soaked cycling shoes were taken from us and dried out overnight. Extremely comfortable rooms and excellent breakfast choice. I have no hesitation in recommending this guest house. It is also very central for restuarants in Carlisle.

Friendly hosts and homecosy place. Fits best for couples and not so good for families. The place gives a good atmosphere of english tradition in everything from the rooms to food and more. 15 minutes walk from the center where things take place.

I spent five nights in the Cherry Grove B&B, great location, felt really welcome by a very attentive Margaret and Neil. Great room, super services; the full English breakfast really kept me going. Have brought along Dutch Beemster cheese also for Margaret...but next time that's not necessary at all. A second English plug for the electricity system would be more... More

We came into town late around 6:30 pm, but the hostess was pleasant and friendly. The room was comfortable. The breakfast was excellent, included the usual egg, sausage, mushroom and tomatoes. The parking is tight. There are three spots adjacent to the building, and also street parking.
