Our room was a little severe, with white walls, high ceilings and blinds on the large window, but it was clean and comfortable with a good shower in the ensuite. Parking is a problem as the hotel is in the centre of Carlisle, but staff were very helpful and courteous. Liam on reception especially deserves a mention as he went... more

This new Travelodge is in the centre of Carlisle. The best thing about this hotel is the location. It is within easy walking distance to the city centre (about 2 mins), eating places, train station, etc. They do have a Bar Cafe inside but you can get much cheaper and nicer food on your doorstep The rooms are very, very... more
