On my arrival at Pescara House I was greeted by Pat and David who straight away made me feel like I was one of the family instead of a guest at a bed and breakfast. Once inside the house, I was charmed by the original Victorian décor an their extensive knowledge of Colchester. In the mornings, I had a real English breakfast including tea, coffee, juice, cereal, eggs, bacon, sausage is, baked beans, mushrooms, and toast. I think the end of my stay I gained 10lbs.!

Pat and David’s house is right on the edge of town so everything is within easy walking distance. The stores, the castle and if you need it public transport (which is much more efficient than here in Chicago) are all within a few minutes walk.

I enjoyed my stay so much that I plan to go back and stay with Pat and David again. I have no hesitation about recommending the five star treatment at Pescara house. more
