This hotel is independently owned and has a "boutique" feel. The breakfast room is light and airy and linen napkins were provided. The original wooden shutters have been retained in this room though the decor throughout is modern. The hotel info book in the room is slightly quirky, which I liked, but it is still informative. The staff were excellent... More

Stayed here for business recently. Pleasant and nicely furnished and equipped rooms, with a good bed and an excellent shower (quite a feat for this hard water area). Friendly service and prices good value, well located for the town centre and station, if you are happy to walk. If parking be careful not to miss the entrance off North Hill... More

This hotel is conveniently located. Room was spotless. We had a room in the back which was very quiet. The staff are extremely friendly. Breakfast was excellent. I'm told it's the best meal in town. The only negative was the shower; but then who chooses a room based on a shower? It's an old building and you can't expect too... More

Great location for shopping, restaurants, and transportation connections. You can get to/from the bus stop in 10 minutes or to/from the train in 20 minutes. (I don't like taxis) Clean & modern Great breakfast Friendly and help staff (They printed up some stuff for us) Great Value for the money We stayed here before a cruise that left out of... More

A BIG thank you to all staff for making my family and I feel very welcome. We stayed for two nights as a wedding party where my sister was getting married at the town hall. Jack, you couldn't have done anymore for us. From organising taxi's, chilling champagne that we had brought ourselves to making sure that we had a... More

The staff were very helpful and overall we had a lovely stay. Really small room which was dusty. Didn't help to find a loose biscuit on the floor. Breakfast was nice but if they could bring the sauces before your Cooked breakfast it'd stop your breakfast getting cold waiting for it. I did ask before my food came on the... More

We stayed in this hotel whilst attending a Peterborough United away game 4 years ago when the hotel had just opened, we enjoyed it very much? We repeated this again this weekend, the hotel has expanded with a nice glazed courtyard and function room whilst a new wing is under construction. The owners and staff are superb nothing is to... I stayed here for 1 night in July of 2014. The hotel is very close to the town centre, and as such there are plenty of shops and restaurants within walking distance. The hotel itself and the room seemed nice and clean, the bathroom was fine and the bed was fairly comfortable. However, the room was rather small and it... More

I always stay here for business. Rooms are clean, beds comfortable. The food is outstanding. I've had breakfast, lunch and dinner there. Will always stay here when in the area. If prone to noise, ask for a back room away from the high street

Situated very close to the town centre, about a mile from the mainline station, this lovely small independent hotel is exactly the kind of place I like when I want to feel noticed - by which I mean, not another anonymous face in a budget hotel. The staff were all young, friendly and very well trained. The room was small,... More
