Thanks Helen and Malcolm. A great quiet and relaxing weekend stay. In the centre of Colchester but off the beaten track - a great combination. The wife loved nearby Pashas clothes shop door (though I'm not sure my bank balance will!). Also add Mussis near the castle to your recommended restaurants. And your scrambled eggs! Mmmm Phil

I really enjoyed my stay here. Trinity has a cosy family feel to it. The staff were very friendly and the rooms are lovely. I stayed in the Cornwall room and it was a good size, nice outlook and HUGE bathroom. Great breakfast too!
