Stayed here for 1 night on business - another great 1-night stay. Only disappointment was lack of Wifi access - which was a repeat issue from my previous stay 2 months earlier. Otherwise, a great hotel. Food excellent on evening and breakfast - no concerns or issues here. Room in good condition. Would recommend for any business or leisure!

Comfortable room and bed, spotlessly clean and curtains that cut out all light. All good things that should lead to an excellent nights sleep. The problem is that the sound insulation from the floor above is not the best and we were woken several times by people moving about in the room above. Of course we may have been unlucky... More

Same hotel new chairs and a change in the bar and lobby areas, some staff the same, room reasonable yet not been hoovered properly leaving you feeling a little grubby. You arrive hoping you will get good service by chirpy friendly staff who front poor back office and kitchen. A little more sense and co-ordination would save some frustrations. Restaurant... More

this has recently changed from the Aston Hotel to a Mercure and not for the better. They have redesigned the dinning area and now it's very cramped with little space between tables. It's not the sort of environment I would enjoy eating in. We now have to pay over £13 for my 12 years olds breakfast, this is a total... More

We stayed here a week ago on Saturday night. The hotel is really attractive and a pleasure to be in. We stayed in a privilege room on the 2nd floor and it was lovely. It had everything you might need and more. Very comfortable bed (best hotel bed we have every stayed in) so we both had a great nights... More

Myself and my partner stayed at the mercure hotel last weekend as we were seeing lee evans in Sheffield and wanted somewhere nice to stay. We stayed in an executive room overlooking the front. I must say I have never stayed in a mercure hotel before and wasn't sure what to expect, however I need not of worried, what a... More

Stayed in this hotel on a business trip. The first comment is that if your plan is to visit Sheffield you should try and find a hotel in Sheffield since, unless you have a car, this hotel is in the middle of a business park so you do not have much to see around it. The price was OK considering... More

This was a Groupon deal for bed breakfast and evening meal plus entry to Chatsworth which on the face of it represented excellent value for money. Our room was comfortable, clean and quiet and checkin was straightforward. The Evening meal, however, was disappointing. One of the starters was inedible, the mains were ok but boring and the puddings cheapand bought in. We were... More

We (3 ladies and their bikes) stayed here the night before a bike race. Staff were really friendly, room and facilities were really clean and tidy. Thankyou to the gentleman who served up breakfast early for us with a smile and topped our water bottles with ice! Would definitely stay again. Very reasonable rates. 5 mins to Meadowhall for plenty... More

The staff were friendly and helpful, the food was ok but nothing special. The room was good and very clean. With the Chatsworth tickets included this was a very good value deal which I would recommend.
