Pro: Nice rooms, very comfortable beds, friendly and helpful staff. Con: Breakfast prices outrageous, unable to sleep until very late Friday & Saturday nights because of very loud noise from wedding parties in banquet room across hall (we had rooms 107 & 108). Also weak to none wifi.

I have stayed there a dozen times now and never had anything but wonderful service. The food is excellent and always freshly cooked. You can ‘alter’ the menu to suit what you particularly want. Rooms are fine with comfortable beds. Very quiet, too, which I find is a massive bonus. It’s the staff who make it though. On reception there... More

I rarely leave reviews for hotels and only usually use Trip advisor to check on a hotels reputation before booking. I don't want to seem completely negative in my feedback and my aim is to be as constructive in my comments as possible. I stay in the Rotherham/Sheffield area on a weekly basis for at least 1 night, often staying... More

Spent one night here before a conference in Sheffield, very good value for b&b Restaurant was quite, service was good food was good value, hotel could do with a bit of money spending on it in my opinion, but overall a pleasant stay.

Staying at this hotel was a good move for me. It was in the right location, was the right price and perfect for my timing. From the moment I walked into reception (2 hours later than I estimated, and close to last ordrs in the restaurant) I was made to feel very welcome by all the staff I met -... More

Stayed overnight when attending a concert in Sheffield. Reception were friendly and welcoming. Room was clean, booked one with four poster bed as that was all that was left, large room if a little empty, settee and chair in room were rather uncomfortable not really suitable for relaxing on. Had a good nights sleep bed was comfortable and although room... More

A very warm welcome on a busy Saturday night. Not the easiest of places to find but worth it. Or probably just my map reading. Very good value for money both for food and standard of accommodation. Huge bed and room. Relaxed dining and very helpful staff. Would stay again. Its the second best Western we have stayed at and... More

Very nice room (217) for £47.25 including breakfast (for 2 people although only me staying). Unlike others I didn't have a problem with wifi in the room. Staff helpful and pleasant at breakfast which I felt was very good standard and plentiful with both hot and cold available. Would be happy to stay again.
