The location suited us very well, but the standard of the rooms and service was not what we expected. All the three rooms booked (De luxe, superior and standard) had tatty furniture, poor decoration and bathrooms, and lacked basic facilities such as bedside tables, toiletries, towels and a hairdrier. My wife and I had a lovely 60s weekend here. All the staff were polite and helpful. Good food and a clean room and bedding also enjoyed the entertainment. We can recomend the Royal. more
