We have just stayed at the Royal, and where pleasantly surprised at how nice this hotel was. Very clean and tidy, and well positioned on the sea front. The food at both breakfast and dinner was really nice. We will definitely be returning.

Brilliant hotel, one of the biggest in Skegness. Stayed in a single room. Very clean, nice t.v with plenty of channels. comfy bed. Bathroom quite small but had everything you need. Only downfall was that it was quite windy outside which made a noise on the windows so kept me awake abit but not a major problem. About 5-10 minute... More

We visited for the first time in January spending just 1 night and were surprised at the size of the hotel. If must be one of the largest in Skegness. The bar was a lovely place to chill out in the afternoon before heading out for the evening. Our room on the ground floor was more than adequate although they... More

Only stayed for one night but glad it was no longer. The building looks impressive from the outside but we were very disappointed with the room and service. The room was very small, think it was originally a single room that now has two singles pushed together to create a double. just room for a wardrobe but no chairs so... More

Just got back from valentine night stay at the royal hotel drummond road skeggy. The hotel itself looks very grand, but the rooms and £75 a night cost just doesnt live up to it. The room was very small, bed comfy, but bathroom was tiny, shower curtain was old and black along bottom edge, some mold in the tiles and no... More

Beautiful hotel. Staff very attentive, could not do enough to help. Very clean. Room big and nicely decorated. Gem of a place. Would stay again if in Skegness. Close to all amenities but far enough away to be quiet. Lovely decoration in rooms and main areas. Breakfast was good all you could eat buffet style. Went for a meal in... More

We have just had a lovely weekend at this hotel. Its well placed being a 5-10 minute walk from the centre of Skegness. Its a large hotel and it has a good lounge bar and two restaurants, one English one Indian (The Bollywood). We had booked a superior sea facing double, and the room we were given was on the... More

Really nice carvery. Didn't enjoy my choice of dessert though but will definitely go again. Brilliant staff, especially one .she couldn't do enough for us. Forgot to get her name so I will have to get it next time. It was nice and busy in the restaurant and the tables wasnt all crammed in like some places .

Very disappointed. We booked online via Booking.com. Ground floor double was available, also stressed we required a ground floor room, Booking.com confirmed. On arrival we were told by reception, very unapologetic, they were full so we ended up with a room on the second floor, four flight of stairs. They provide TV with limited channels, half of which had poor... More
