A lovely friendly hotel whee you receive a warm welcome into the home of Rob and Linda. Nothing is too much trouble for them. Our room was clean, tea , coffee and water replenished daily. Breakfast was excellent cooked to order, never ending supply of tea, coffee and toast. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a delightful place... More

Stayed for 2 nights Rob and Linda make you feel at home excellent hosts. The room we had was the superior room very very clean lively decor great size bathroom. Visited for a overnight stay with my husband a little boy. Rob and Linda both greeted us, and are both lovely people which made made us feel very welcome. We received a very wam welcome when we stayed at this lovel hotel. We went over the May Bank Holiday weekend, Sun, Mon and left Tuesday. Very central location, near a lovely park. We have just returned from a 2 night stay at the Sherwood and would like to stay thanks to our hosts. It would appear our room (8) has recently been refurbished and not used previously so feel some feedback will be useful - the shower is very good but also is very slippy it would benefit from a non slip... Just came back after a few days there with my husband and mum and dad, what a great place. The rooms were clean and tidy the beds were very very comfortable. The breakfast was great. The owners were two really lovely friendly people nothing was too much trouble, they made our stay a great experience. Will be booking there again.

Booked for 1 night as we were seeing a show at the Embassy theatre, great location and within easy reach of all activities. Mine hosts were very welcoming and friendly, would defiantly recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a central location.
