When we got there no door handle to front door, bar was desolate, the place was smelly, dirty, make shift plastic wardrobe and the view from window was a wall, which I feel like banging my head against.I've seen better hostels. Walked out within mins lady refused to refund full amount.... More

Rooms very small dirty and smelly, we complained about our room been dirty and was told it would be cleaned when we got back but they just put toilet cleaner down and left it like that. Breakfast was nice and the gentleman who worked there was fantastic with the kids but will not be going back.

We stayed in this hotel on Thursday 1st January 2015. We only wanted a cheap night away and you can't expect 5 star quality when you are only paying £35.00. The room was fine. It was a little ratty, but was warm. The breakfast was great. Cereals, full English which consisted of 2 rashes of bacon, 2 sausages, egg, mushrooms,... More

The owners are new & are obviously doing their best, however, some attention to detail would have helped our stay. The B&B smelt of stale smoke & the rooms were tiny & poorly decorated & did not seem clean. We didn't even dare to use our shower as the grouting was brown with age/dirt. There were things under the bed... More

I booked quite late on and only got a single room, which was very small and tatty. The small room had a partition wall behind which was the toilet and shower cubicle, no door closing the sleeping area from the toilet. The blind next to the bed was broken letting in light. The radiator was stuck on so had to... More
