The food was disgusting, soup was like water coloured but no taste, gammon was like a thick piece of bacon. Room was clean but dated and the staff seemed to have false smiles. The custard looked like wallpaper paste. We actually went out to eat as it was that poor, would never stay there again.

I am sorry to say the only good thing I found about this hotel was the breakfast, it was more like a large guest house than hotel. We went as a group and it was unaminous that we would not return, several problems all round .

My husband Keith & myself have just returned from our 6th holiday at The Leisure Hotel with Coachstyle. Everything from the room, food, entertainment and Janet and Paul their family and staff gave 110%. We found our room to be really clean and comfy with en-suite shower room and loo. The entertainment was superb. I would recommend this hotel to... More

Just returned from a weekend here with friends, the public areas are grubby and tired, the smile of the host is patently false, COLD WATER in the showers, reported to the proprietor who blamed Health and Safety!!!!! Didn't check, didn't care didn't address the issues, food was diabolical in the evening - soup recipe 75 gallons of water plus 2... More

The Hotel disappoints in lots of areas, the lounge area has sofas with covers hiding the wear on the arms, the dining room is more like a corridor than a room, if you are unlucky enough to have to sit the wall side of your table, you will be passed your meal/soup for you to place in front of yourself,... The rooms are clean and comfortable and in an excellent location. Food is basic and poor value for money. The hotelier can be abrupt and rude at times. Very disappointed my husband has been ill for some time and this was a much looked forward to break. The reviews were good, this maybe just be a one off bad week... More

Highly recommended family run hotel who couldn't do enough to help excellent food clean rooms with plenty of tea and coffee The owner came on to the coach and told us to go and sit down where by a pot of tea was waiting while the keys were given out This hotel is ideally situated.
