Nothing wrong with the staff and breakfast was fine (apart from putting cereals, yoghurts and dishes by the front door which was open to traffic fumes), however, the Quorn's decor is very tired. Our room faced the front, but curtains were faded, doubled glazing needed replacing, headboards need replacing, carpet stained and shower head didn't fit into holder. Bedding and... More

The proprieters surprised her by putting up balloons and banners etc, a birthday cake complete with candle and a chorus of 'Happy Birthdasy' from all the other lovely guests. Thank you so much Baz and Lindsey for making it so special, she was thrilled! The hotel has an excellent standard of... More
