Fourth lovely stay at Caxton house. Breakfast is lovely & as a veggie I was totally catered for. Bedrooms are clean & the beds just lovely. Wendy & Paul are great hosts & nothing is too much trouble. Close to the beach, seafront amusements, nature reserve & pubs/restaurants. Will be staying again very soon.

We stayed at Caxton house in September, what a pleasant surprise, I was prepared for our usual B & B standard of classic British guest house, but as soon as we walked through the door we were all impressed by the genuine welcome from the proprietors, contemporary décor, and the attention to detail from the afternoon cream tea, homemade scones,... We spent last weekend at Caxton House to celebrate our Golden Wedding with our family. Wendy and Paul were exellant hosts, warm and welcoming, and had given us lots of advice in preparing for the weekend. It was the little touches which made a lot of difference to the guests enjoyment. The party was 22 strong and aged from 2... More

What a treat - to find delicious, locally sourced Lincolnshire ingredients cooked in inventive ways in my home town. We enjoyed dinner, bed and breakfast on two days in September. The food was outstanding - the flavour, presentation and value for money. The highlights were the Lincolnshire oat cakes with crispy bacon; the crab salad; pork with an apple /... More

I recently stayed at Caxton House with a couple of friends and used it as a base to play golf a Seacroft Golf Club which is only minutes away. Wendy an Paul, the owners, gave us a very warm welcome on our arrival and presented us with an excellent 3 course evening meal which was all freshly home cooked and... More

My partner and I stayed at Caxton House for 1 night in September and we have both agreed that this will be our accommodation whenever we return to Skegness. We were welcomed with tea and biscuits and was shown to our lovely room. The food is brilliant, we had breakfast included in the price but we enjoyed the food that... More

My wife and me stayed for two nights and had a wonderful relaxing weekend. Wendy and Paul made you very welcome and went out of their way to make your stay special. The breakfasts and evening meal on sunday were of good quality and locally sourced ingredients. This was our first stay at Caxton House and we will be making... More

Visited Caxton house for the 3rd time with my son and it is still up to its usual high standard. We stayed in room 4 which is a twin that has been described as a single on a previous review which is complete nonsense. There was more than adequate room to move round as well as a decent en suite... More

The annual Golf Trip to Seacroft is always supported by a Caxton House stay - simply because it is brilliant!! On this trip, we ate crab, mussels and oysters for Starters, Mains of the most amazing Game Casserole presented in a scooped out squash, and a gorgeous Beef Wellington and a beautifully presented Stuffed Chicken Breast.....This was serious food served...
