It seems that once again this inn is under a management company so changes are being made but some deep rooted problems have yet to be addressed. We booked because from the outside this looks like a typical old coaching inn. Visited Stamford in February and ate at the Bull and Swan. Food was excellant. The portions were large and cooked well. We will be going to Stamford soon and guess where we will be eating?? more

We booked a room at The Bull and Swan as everywhere else was full. The pub was warm and welcoming as were the staff but the room had mould and waterstains running down the walls, plaster flaking off and a stained carpet.
