Why pay lots of money to stay in one of the many hotels in Stamford when you could save money and have an equally splendid time here? The guest house is right in the centre of Stamford which means you have a great choice of lovely pubs and restaurants near by, you are close to the boutiques and interesting shops... More

In Stamford on business for a couple of weeks and found a little gem here! (No pun intended). From dropping the keys off to me whilst I was at work to clear directions, to a beautifully appointed room with everything that was needed, nothing was too much trouble. Gemma was so welcoming, and it really did feel like I was... More

This is an excellent place to stay in a perfect town. There is nothing to fault - the welcome is wonderful, bedrooms and bathrooms are very stylish and comfortable and the breakfast is just superb. Seek this place out and enjoy! More

We stayed at Stamford Lodge for one night, so that we could attend a birthday party at the nearby (and very expensive) George Hotel. Gemma was so welcoming and made us feel very at home. The house itself is beautifully decorated, with great attention to detail. One of those places where you walk away thinking "I must do that in... More

What a wonderful place! Definately recommend it. Gemma made you feel like you were a friend and gave us lots of information about where to eat etc. It was made special by all the attention to detail, without it (and Gemma), it could have ended up being just another B&B. It was clean and very comfortable. I would definately go... More

From the initial enquiry to leaving the door after our stay, Gemma was the most welcoming and friendly host. Our initial enquiry was a few months before we were to visit. Gemma had asked what time we would be arriving, mid day I said but meant in Stamford not expecting to enter the Guest House at that time. No worries... More

This place is superb - Gemma is a great host who made us feel really welcome. The accommodation is fashionable in a homely way and full of little details that made our stay interesting. Breakfast was tasty, we had the yoghurt/granola/fruit combo followed by full English breakfast - cooked perfectly. We'll be going back... More

Booked a one night stay for myself and a friend. Received a warm welcome and some excellent tips for things to do and places to eat. The decor is really cosy and well thought out. Breakfast was fab with a bonus museli concoction. Stamford is a lovely place to visit and I'm quite sure this B&B is the best around! More
