Stayed here for 4 nights for business. The hotel is lovely and a little quirkily decorated in a very good way: the 'chic room' I stayed in was near perfect...would have preferred a sofa for sitting on instead of a day bed....but that's just a little niggle. Great wifi throughout the hotel, lots of power outlets for iPad, phone and... More

Lovely room, much bigger than I'd expected, with carpeted floors (I hate wooden floors in hotel bedrooms), superb tray with tea coffee chocolate, proper tea pot and proper mugs too, also biscuits and mineral water. Large wood freestanding wardrobe with towelling robes inside, tissues on the table, full length mirror, good bedside lights. As they say on the website "everything... More

From the moment I made my booking, I called the hotel to request a particular room. I was lucky to encounter a delightful lady called Emma, whom I met through the visit. During the phone calls and also my visit, she was delightful and so helpful-a real credit to this hotel . My room was as ever immaculate, the bed... More

Nice hotel. Lots of character. Ideally located near the centre of Stamford. Ample parking. Generous sized room, although the window was 10 feet in the air. The only criticism I have is that the fire alarm went off at midnight. Guests made there way downstairs to find a confused and flustered young man who told us it was a false... More

So i stayed here for one night. What a lovely hotel. The staff and customer service are second to none. If staying here i would request to NOT stay in room 24. Its a nice room but there was so much noise from people passing the room at night and traffi noise. Also there was not enough hot water to... More

My husband and I stayed for two nights at this beautiful hotel. We arrived at 8pm and was offered a table in the restaurant. Our room (the Guineas) was stunning, situated right in the roof and with lovely little extras like the blackcurrant spirit left at the bedside and a good selection on hot drinks (and bottled water) to enjoy.... Wasn't planning to stay here as i needed to be nearer too Peterborough but there was an agricultural show on at the show ground so had to look further a field. The hotel looked impressive and was shown to my room which was No7 which was very roomy and the bed was fantastic. I didn't eat in the hotel as... More

Stayed here for two nights and really enjoyed it. Conveniently situated within easy walking distance of the town centre with excellent parking unlike other hotels in Stamford. Excellent food ( Calves Liver the best ever!) served by very personable, enthusiastic and efficient Staff. I personally prefer the bedrooms that aren't on the road side as there is road noise and...
