An excellent experience from start to finish. Room beautifully clean and comfortable. Fay left us some delicious home made Easter bunny biscuits. Fay and Bruce were extremely accommodating, exceptionally friendly and knowledgeable about surrounding area. Fay immediately changed the duvet on the bed when we noticed it was feather which I am allergic to. Very good value for money, Breakfast... More

Once again a fantastic Stamford visit with accommodation in the Dolphin Guest House. Lovely room with a really comfortable bed, a full english to start the day, and only a couple of minutes from the centre of town (and that's walking). Free parking outside the door, Really cannot ask for more. See you next year.

Jus spent a lovely weekend in Stamford at the fabulous Dolphin Guest House - cannot fault the service, the room and the facilities. Bruce and Fay were lovely hosts who made us very welcome. The room was spacious and warm and had some fab extras like homemade flap jack and tea and coffee facilities and lovely soap and shower gel... More

I booked The Dolphin Guest House after seeing other reviews on Trip Advisor. Fay e-mailed me to say she had a twin room available on Saturday 28th February and that the cost was £65 for the room including full English breakfast, which I thought was very reasonable. I rang Fay to make the booking and she could not have been... More

Such friendly and accommodating owners, really felt like they would of done anything to make our stay what we wanted! The lovely cosy rooms were clean and lovely, homemade biscuits to welcome us and a bottle of water in each room. Clean towels and bathroom facilities! Great location only a brief walk from the restaurants and bars, but just far... More

We had such a fab stay at the dolphin guest house! Very clean & cosy with some lovely little touches such as homemade biscuits & bottled water in the rooms. The owners were so friendly & welcoming & cooked us the yummiest full English breakfast, with homemade granola & delicious banana bread! We can't wait to return!!

This modern guest-house is literally a minute's walk from Broad Street and the Town Centre and also offers free on-site parking which is a rarity in this bustling and charming historic town. Very easily accessible and with a choice of rooms at incredibly competitive and realistic prices unlike some of the very expensive local accommodation which exploits it's reputation and... More

A lovely little guest house in a stunning location and hosted by a wonderful couple. Breakfast is a feast for anyone and the rooms are well equipped and presented tastefully and priced appropriately. Boasting parking, which is a real bonus in this busy town.

11 of us stayed here for 2 nights for the Battle Proms at Burghley House. The owners could not do enough to look after us and made us feel so welcome. The accommodation was clean and the breakfasts were amazing home cooked food. Highly recommend

Stayed in the guest house Saturday night. It's really cute! Clean, modern and the owners are lovely! The breakfast is brilliant (especially the home made granola!) I had forgotten to tell them I'm allergic to feathers and they immediately sorted it out once we arrived and I let them know. Nothing was too much trouble. Will definitely return. It's so... More
