We stayed here for three nights on a break to visit friends. The staff are very friendly, and the locals too. Our room was spotlessly clean, the food was excellent, both breakfast, and our meals in the pub. The one negative is the lack of sound insulation between the upper and lower floors of the annexe, we could hear people... More

Our room was large, albeit an eclectic collection of furniture and a rather-too-soft mattress, but lovely touches in the bathroom such as a basket of goodies. Good shower temperature and pressure. Breakfast the next morning was excellent, and food in the evening generously portioned.

After reading extremely good reviews we were excited about staying at this accommodation. Initial welcome was Luke warm and then when we went down the drive to the tiny unit we started getting a tad worried with the entrance becoming mire and littered by children's mikes, roller skates and other toys. On entering the room my anxiety increases bit too... More

We stayed here in July after attending a wedding nearby. The room was very large and spacious, with a big bathroom and comfy bed. The staff were very friendly and the pub/bar itself was lovely. We didn't have time to utilise their beer garden but it looked beautiful with great views. We'll definitely be booking this place again when we... More

Perfect setting, very friendly, immaculately clean, what more could you want? We chose the Willoughby purely because of location as we were visiting friends in the area. Would highly recommend and will without a doubt be staying there again in the future.

This country inn (as it is described in the Willoughby Arms' own literature) is a gem, both historically and as a place to relax and unwind. It is actually in Little Bytham, just outside Stamford - a pleasant drive of about 8 / 10 minutes from the town. We dined in the restaurant both evenings - the choice was good,... More

We stayed here for 2 night a while back and had a fantastic time. The locals were friendly during the evening and the atmosphere was very, very friendly. The beers on offer were varied and very nice. The rooms are located out the back, so it was very quiet and peaceful when it needed to be.

My wife and I have had the pleasure of staying at this quintessential village pub on two other occasions. We have always taken the opportunity of staying in one of their superior rooms, there being four of these. They are the Mallard, Burghley, Rutland and Bytham. On this occasion we stayed in the Burghley. The rooms are virtually brand new... More

We visited with friends during Easter weekend and found it an easy, spotlessly clean and relaxing venue. We stayed in the Courtyard rooms and found they had all we needed for a short 3 night break. The breakfast area was in need of refurbishment and this was acknowledged by our host who advised that this was planned and would happen... More
