A clean, tidy, modern, low stress place to stay. It was my second stay here and I would go back again. Seems like a safe area to be in and there are local shops and take aways. As with most hotels, the price is never great unless you book well in advance or very last minute, but better value than... More

Welcoming reception staff. Clean, comfortable rooms. Recently refurbished rooms which were becoming a little tired. Convenient for me to visit my family. Stopped here quiet a few times before. Didn't use the restaurant this time but used it before and it was ok.

The hotel was clean and comfortable. The staff helpful and extremely kind and considerate. No problems what so ever. Great value for money. Tea and coffe and tv in room and you could ask for hairdryer or iron if needed

This hotel is rather dated with a rather shabby feel - in need of some renovation and love. General level of service is of this level as well. Hallway smelt of smoke, despite being non-smoking. They also failed to meet the advertised environmental commitment to not wash towels (we were only there 2 nights!) by changing towels automatically and leaving... More

Bed was very comfy, I could have slept soundly if it weren't for all the doors banging, furniture being dragged around upstairs, people were not necessarily being overly noisy, the problem was clearly the walls were made of paper, I could hear every word of the conversation upstairs.....

This hotel in the Boldmere region of Birmingham has got everything going for it - warm, cosy and clean rooms and stepping out into the main high street, lots to choose from for eating or drinking. Unfortunately the car park lets it down badly - unless you drive a 'smartcar' don't even think about trying to park in there and... More
