Agree with a previous poster about the pillows - not very nice synthetic ones. The place is absolutely spotless although the decor is slightly out of date. It's on a fairly noisy main road, but it quietens down in the wee small hours. I would have recommended the place to others except for the very strange attitude of the hostess.... more

A great B & B. As its location is on the main road from Wellington it's surprisingly quiet. The room was spotless. The breakfast unparalleled. The host was most helpful and informative. If you visit Taunton, don't stay anywhere else! more

After searching hours on the internet trying to find a reasonably priced B&B in Taunton, we read the wonderful review about Brookfield House and decided it sounded perfect-and it was!! Our room was spotlessly clean and comfortable and we got a lovely cooked breakfast in the morning. I only wish we could have stayed their longer!! more
