Although I found the room comfortable, the customer service leaves much to be desired. I booked through Booking.com and based my choice mainly on price. It is relatively inexpensive, so expect an extremely basic experience. Be aware that the reception closes at 10pm so going for an after dinner drink and checking in later than this is not allowed. The place is freezing. I asked for an additional tea bag and although it was provided, was reminded it 'came off the bottom line'. I paid £35 for one night, I'm sure one or two extra tea bags are not going to send the administrators in. Saying that they seem to save money by not putting the heating on. I... More

Just going to write this quick because the hotel isn't worth the effort. The man was friendly and polite, however the lady is very rude. The room was freezing cold. Sits next to the motorway and the noise of lorries kept me awake. Wifi doesn't work. Unclean.

On arrival the outside of the location seemed pleasant enough & the guy at the front desk was friendly & showed me to my room, but didn't offer to help with the heavy bags. On entering the room it was obvious why it was so cheap. The rooms were dated but there was an old tv & wifi so it... More

Booked here for a surprise 30th birthday stay over for my terminally ill sister who is wheelchair bound. Booking was made requesting one room to be disabled. Rang again two days later to inform them that oxygen would be delivered on the morning of our arrival as my sister is oxygen dependant, the gentleman on the phone was very hostile... More

Booked hotel after phoning and speaking to owner and explaining we had a disabled guest and checking they had a downstairs room, was told we could have the disabled room and to simply put a note on my online booking. Rang hotel couple days later (fortnight before our stay) to inform that oxygen would be delivered for the night as... More

On arrival I thought the hotel was ok for the money- pretty bog standard. Radiators were off so the room was very cold to begin with. Older man on the desk was friendly and helpful when showing me to my room. Old fixtures and fittings and very dated but had a tv that worked eventually after if fiddled with the... More

Firstly the Sat Nav could not find this hotel by its post code and I was not the only one this happened to. This Hotel is very basic and our room was grubby, on arrival the room was cold and without comfortable chairs and the TV seemed miles away from anywhere relaxing (the bed) Breakfast was continental. Not a recommendation... More

What can I say ?? It was the worst ever experience in my life... I have travelled several countries and have stayed in budget hotels but this was the worst... No Cleanliness, No Décor, No service, No courteous behaviour of Staff, Filthy furniture and unhygienic conditions... I wouldn't even stay for FREE if given a choice....now you can imagine the...
