Stayed here overnight to break up a long journey. Called in advance to enquire about late check in and parking and the staff were helpful and informative. The Hotel is next door to the M1 service facilities inc Burger king, M&S etc which was useful. Parking is free provided you enter your reg no. Inside reception with adequate spaces. The... More

Stayed here for 1 night in July 2014.. All the hotels and B&B;s around the area were full so it was 'Hobson's choice'. For £39.00 for the night it was very good value. Not the best location or pleasant looking hotel but easy to get to. The girl on reception was very good and made us feel welcome. The room... More

Old style room which requires modernising, however the bed was comfortable and a massive plus is the building is set back away from the busy M1, so traffic noise in our room was virtually non-existent

For the price the hotel is good. However the showers did not have enough pressure in both rooms we had. The room are in need of updating, for a service station the rooms were not noisy except for the odd door slam from other rooms.

Just a standard travelodge, same amenities as you receive in all these properties. We were provided with tea and coffee making facilities and overall it was clean. On check in the receptionist was friendly and told us if we needed any help then to give her a shout, the car parking (as expected being in a service station) is more... More

You arrive in a motorway service area and are a bit concerned about the noise from the motorway, but there is no need as at this hotel you will not be bothered by noise. The rooms are as you would expect, where everything worked and was a reasonable standard of cleanliness. If you expect a usual travelodge, you wont be... More

Have been here several times, but this last visit was less pleasant as those visited in between have been upgraded. There was an unpleasant smell in the bedroom as we opened the door - just like tobacco. We enquired and were told it was a new spray cleaner! Do we believe that? "All the rooms are the same" she said......... More

Was going to stay here over the w/end on way to Yorkshire but as we have 2 dogs had to contact hotel directly to see if dogs were allowed. They answered promptly but the price was horrendous, £25 for one person per night - fab, and another £20 for a dog??? Are you serious?? Only costing us £40 extra for... More

Good location at Motorway services. I was trying to book a room in one of the new updated Travelodges but couldn't find one nearby with rooms available. Rooms were tired and dated, holes in curtains, one thin pillow each. Reasonably priced although by the time you have bought breakfast it's not that cheap. Will stay at a Travelodge again if... More
