Saville guest house is very good value and I had a lovely stay.
It's situated in an unassuming house 5 mins' walk from the centre of Wakefield, just across the road from the bus station. The road seemed to have sheltered housing on it, and there were teenagers hanging around in the evening, but it felt safe. We stayed here for the local CAMRA beer festival which was at the end of the road!
Nice residential area just over the road from the bus station.
The room was very clean with clean towels and sheets and looked like it had been recently decorated.
The landlady was very friendly and even let us keep the keys until late afternoon so we could go back for our bags.
The breakfast was lovel and freshly cooked.
We would definately stay here again and will no doubt be going back for the festival next year.
