If you want a cheap B&B convenient to the centre of Wakefield then this is ideal. The rooms are clean and basic with shared bathrooms. The breakfast is self service and available all day. The pub has real ales and evening entertainment. The staff were friendly and helpful.

If you want to be out all night and just want a bed to crash in for a couple of hours while you are trolled. This is the place for you. Best thing about this place is the free parking. The rooms are very basic with spiders webs everywhere. Old worn towels. Stained bed linen. Shared bathrooms with other drunken... More

For the price this is exactly what I expected. All the basics were there and the room rate is low for a city centre location. Noise levels were what you would expect for the location, I stayed on a Thursday night and there wasn't any nightclub activity within earshot, although this may not be the case at the weekend.

When I first entered I was greeted by some friendly staff that showed me around the b&b. My room was okay, clean and had a nice view. The TV didn't have signal but it didn't matter anyway as I was only there to sleep. I was a bit annoyed that there wasn't a kettle in the room. Think there were... More

Stayed here for 4 nights when me and a few colleagues were working locally. The place was ideal with a pub downstairs showing all the sports channels, all staff were friendly and we ended up having great banter with the locals. A great place to stay, centrally located I'm the city and most of all.... great value for money!!

This hoel is ok for Stag and Hen parties and similar celebrations. The bar is open until about 6am on Fridays and Saturdays which we found out about when we had... More

NEVER stay at the weekend as the disco throbs through the room until 6am and you will not be able to sleep. The no-service-just-help-yourself breakfast was dreadful; mouldy croissants; a scraping of value marmalade the only available spread for the toast, no orange juice ... nowhere near a 'continental breakfast'! When I complained on my return (no-one to complain to... More

This hoel is ok for Stag and Hen parties and similar celebrations. The bar is open until about 6am on Fridays and Saturdays which we found out about when we had booked. It was noisy but we did manage to get some sleep! Continental breakfast was included which you help your self to from the breakfast bar near the rooms.... More
