Where do I start .... Our company put us up in this hotel while we were working up here, An we wasn't very happy when we checked in the Shower curtain was filthy an smells of urine. 1 wafer thin pillow I had to fold 3 times to get any comfort. The bed had clean covers but was springy so... More

Stayed on new years eve, got a great deal for £28 for two people. Room was clean, good sized bed. No curfew on the rooms, great place to stay for a night out in Wakefield. My complaint - no plugs! What's that about?!

Disturbingly bad.. The staff were polite enough but the Hotel was awful, It`s in need of a total refurb, the rooms were tiny, the toilet seat and light fittings were broken and the walls were paper thin giving me crystal clear access to next doors rants and trips to the toilet..! I didnt feel safe at night due to the... More

This hotel is close enough to the town centre, just off the main road in a kind of industrial estate area which has businesses and a Cafe nearby. The room itself was suffice, it was clean but basic, had a TV, Wifi, and soap, a hairdryer and towels in the bathroom and had a car park. Negatives - We stayed... More

Stayed just one night on a coach tour. We had single rooms and they were basic but warm clean and tidy, modern flat screen TV, lovely shower and firm double bed. Had a good choice of menu for diner and was very nice. Good breakfast and staff very attentive. Did not worry about the location as we were travelling round... More

I had the misfortune of staying a whole ten days in this hotel , whilst one night may be bearable ten days is insufferable and gives you time to truly review the experience. lets start with the location , the picture belies the actual location, its slap bang in the middle of an industrial estate, getting into it is ok... I have stayed at many Campanile hotels, and I must say this one leaves a little to be desired. Although the food in the restaurant was very pleasant with swift polite service, the rooms themselves were not up to the usual Campanile standards. The decor in the rooms was very old and tired, not the usual bright vibrant rooms you... More

Thought I was on to a winner with this place. But when I actually saw it I thought "this is the place where I get murdered in my bed". To be fair, it's not that bad. It's on an industrial estate and it's cheap. So not the Ritz. However, Room said no smoking but it stank of stale smoke and... More
