I have stayed at many Campanile hotels, and I must say this one leaves a little to be desired. Although the food in the restaurant was very pleasant with swift polite service, the rooms themselves were not up to the usual Campanile standards. The decor in the rooms was very old and tired, not the usual bright vibrant rooms you... More

Thought I was on to a winner with this place. But when I actually saw it I thought "this is the place where I get murdered in my bed". To be fair, it's not that bad. It's on an industrial estate and it's cheap. So not the Ritz. However, Room said no smoking but it stank of stale smoke and... More

dont use the restaurant and bar it's overpriced rubbish , poor location on industrial estate but rooms are just ok for what you pay . Toby carvery and premier inn over the road are better places to eat

My wife and I stayed here for just one night (Saturday 27 September 2014) but we won't be going back. I booked the hotel through Booking.Com and there's no denying it was cheap, the staff were friendly enough and the free WiFi meant we could use my tablet to watch the Ryder Cup on Sky Go perfectly from our room... From the moment we arrived i felt like we was in a American horror movie, this 'hotel' more like motel, is based in a industrial estate. Walking up to our room it was terrifying. We traveled here for the weekend for our friends party, as soon as we walked in we saw how dirty it was, all we could smel... More

We arrived and when we came in the room the first thing that stood out was a big white coloured stain on the carpet, then I put my things down on the desk and felt that the desk was sticky. I also went to wash my hands and noticed the sink was dirty then I dried my hands and the... More

I was booked here on business. Its exterior is drab, it's on an industrial estate, the receptionist is chief cook and bottle-washer (no exaggeration), but perhaps that's just how the place is run. The room is a room; TV is freeview with all the channels (including radio), the room has a heater, the bed is okay, pillows are okay, shower... More

Having booked this hotel for a one night business trip (I couldn't get in any other hotels close by) I agree with a previous reviewer who likened this place to the Bates Motel. As a women traveling alone, I felt unsafe and did not feel comfortable staying there, having paid on checking in and visiting the room (up the filthy... More

Awful place. On an industrial estate next to main city road. Chalet arrangement where access to rooms is outside along narrow balcony. Walkway dirty. Foyer carpet dirty. Tea making holder dirty and floor tiles dirty. You had to unplug tv to use the sole plug available. No staff on site between 11pm and 7 am. Just given an emergency number.... More

The hotel is good value for what you pay. Good points, clean fair size room with comfortable bed, tea and coffee facilities, 32" flat screen tv, good shower and quite. Bad points. Looking a litle tired ln the exterior, in my room the shower tiles and grout are in need of a good clean and just some grout whitening would... More
