This is a larger than expected B&B / Hotel. Right in the centre of Wakefield, close to all shops, restaurants & amenities. Parking is free for residents as is the excellent WiFi. Breakfast was good with all you expect from a B&B. The Italian restaurant that is part of the B&B is excellent with a very good price range. All... More

Excellent hotel, great service and nice stay. The reason for my stay was a 21st birthday in wakefield, but could be used for all occasions of family, friends, business, work, night out, suitable for many. Had all facilities needed with great WIFI, function rooms, lift, spacious rooms, excellent bathroom. Also great security needing your key to get into front door... More

Recently having my 21st birthday party at this venue, I found the management brilliantly flexible to my needs. You find yourself walking into an older but well looked after building with good character which is perfectly situated in Wakefield, close to both bus and train stations with free parking for guests. A taxi free night on the town is well... More

I stayed in this hotel for a 21st Birthday Party. The service was great, rooms are of a brilliant standard, very friendly staff and overall a great place to stay. I'd definitely recommend this hotel to a friend. Also the breakfast was amazing!!!

The hotel was clean and comfortable and staff were friendly and helpful. We had a meal there on one night which was very good value and the food was also decent. I would say that overall this is a very good value 3 star hotel.

Stayed for one night, cost of £32.50 for a double room. Greeted straight away by the bar staff who checked us in, and gave us a pass for free parking - otherwise it's a pay and display car park. Restaurant / bar inside the hotel and info on the hotel inside the room. Room was pretty modern, large tv, clean... More

One night was one night too many here. First impressions are terrible as the reception is a messy office full of junk and the receptionist - whilst terribly pleasant - was in jeans and a tee shirt and a little unsure of what was happening with the rooms. Despite arriving well after 2.00pm our room wasn't ready, and to say... More

First impressions count and the reception as you walk through the door makes you think "oh dear" However the receptionist was very friendly. Room was clean but drab, furniture a bit worn and the walls could have done with a fresh lick of paint, the bathroom however was modern and bright. Tea and coffee..however no biscuits..lol I think if this... More
