Went for afternoon tea as a treat from our daughter. Food was very nice. We really enjoyed the afternoon. Staff were lovely. Elaine in particular could not have been more friendly or helpful. Would certainly return again and would definitely recommend to friends or family.

Booked for Sunday lunch with a groupon offer. Newly decorated room. Nice atmosphere. Service was excellent due to number of staff on duty. Carvery set up with quality food. Good choice, will definitely return.

I went yesterday with my mum for afternoon tea. Great staff and a lovely afternoon tea in a really impressive building. I admit I don't know what the bedrooms look like but I was impressed with the downstairs reception rooms which have been kept in the style from when the place was built. It's lovely to see a bit of... More

Just stayed for 2 nights, room was lovely and clean, staff very polite and helpful but a real shame about the breakfast, not enough ready for the guests in the dining room. Items not replaced quickly and some not at all

So I booked the 2 nights with breakfast and evening meal on the first night (£130). The price was excellent, having returned this morning, I know why. External view of the hotel (front) is very nice, the back, not so. Check in was smooth and the staff were very helpful. On first take, the room looked ok however that is... More

Stayed here on business and it was ok but hotel needs a little TLC. Stayed for two nights in January and room was dated but ok. I wouldn't want to stay here for longer than that. Bar areas busy and the hotel does have some great historical features. Parking free and right outside which is handy.

The hotel is everything you want from a short stay, the rooms are well equipped, clean and comfortable. There are lots of places to lounge and relax in and a great base for exploring the local area as there is so much to do. The spa facilities do need a revamp and the jacuezzi flooring needs replacing, I stood on... More

This is a good place to stay. I travel with work a lot and stay in lots of place up and down the country. This is one I look forward to staying at. Always had a good room, and a great stay. The building itself and it's setting is great. The main hall with it's open fire a lovely place... More

A group of us went on a groupon offer for a spa day. The spa facilities a little dated and in need of a revamp, having said that we enjoyed it but did miss lounger chairs to sit around on, you had to sit in the spa or pool. Afternoon tea was delicious a really good selection of sandwiches, cake,... More

Dear Tracy Thank you for taking the time to post your review on you recent visit for Afternoon Tea with leisure access at Blackwell Grange Hotel.
