Stayed for one night on business. Payed extra for delux room and it was well worth it as I remember from a number of stays a couple of years ago that the standard rooms in the new section are fairly basic. Goood feature is free wi-fi and the hotel's own pub which means you can get an inexpensive bar meal... more

Thank you very much for your review. With regards to the TVs we have had 23 new flat screen TVs fitted into rooms this year (with all the freeview channels). Three of our feature rooms even have splash proof screens in the bathroom so you can take a relaxing soak (and not miss your favourite soap)! I am so sorry...

Still feels warm and comfortable. Enjoyed spa and pool great staff here. Reception staff efficent and professional, good. Thank you for your review. Am pleased you enjoyed your stay and apologise for the couple of little niggles. The Restaurant is closed on a Sunday evening, however, we are now looking to further improve our Pub offering on a Sunday Night to compensate for this. Thank you again.

Stayed at hall garth for spa and pamper weekend. We all had a wonderful time. Staff in spa were very professional and helpful and so was the hotel staff. Beautiful rooms, we stayed in the porthouse and thomas suite, so we had the full floor to ourselves! Magic!! Food was very nice and plenty to choose from. Some confusion over... more

Aren't those rooms great! Am delighted to hear that they are being used for groups of friends and families who all want to "be together." They are so private too, so you don't have to worry too much about making a noise! Thank you so much for your review and we hope to see you again soon.

Great hotel in the countryside but only minutes from A1. There for a course on Teeside but wanted to stay away from course venue. Golf was great and facilities good. Rooms were small and average in teh older part of teh hotel but clean and as expected. Service good. I live overseas so it is nice to get back to... more

We arranged our daughter's wedding reception at Hall Garth and from the start to the finish we were treated in a most friendly and professional manner. The rooms were comfortable and clean and the views across the golf course were supurb. The staff were all helpful and attentive. We only wish we had been able to spend a little longer at the hotel. As it happens, we arrived later than expected and we were grateful we were able to get a decent meal at 9pm on a Sunday evening. The staff were very friendly and the hotel and rooms were clean, warm and inviting. We managed to leave... more

This is an excellent value for money hotel if you can get a deal through one of the hotel websites as I did. The rooms are a little small but beautifully furnished and the bathrooms are lovely. It is in a beautiful spot over looking the golf course and the attached pub serves good food. Definitley worth a visit if... more
