The food here was fantastic, as is to be expected at a Michelin Starred restaurant. Unfortunately on the evening I was unwell (Unrelated medical condition) and the staff couldn't have been more helpful! So thank you to them, and I'm sure we will be returning!

We had been meaning to sample this restaurant for a long time and were not disappointed by the food. It was excellent! We visited on Saturday lunchtime and had the set menu. The amuse bouche was crispy cod skin with a creamy mayonnaise. The bar manager delighted in telling us this was delivered free of charge! We sampled all of... More

The food is spectacular here, well deserving of the Michelin star. The cooking is refined, skilled and flavoursome. There is a choice of a tasting menu priced at £75 per head or a la carte. We chose from the concise a la carte menu and delighted in every dish, particularly the razor clam. Amuse bouche were intriguing and delicious too.... More

Every single thing we've eaten here has been incredible, no faults whatsoever with the food. Excellent local beers, champagne royals (rhubarb is amazing), and the chocolate bar dessert is just dreamy. Certainly deserves its star. The outdoor seating is lovely, a little unatmospheric inside with some tables close together and rather quiet so you can hear people's conversations and vice... More

This is a beautiful restaurant. Nice atmosphere; nice setting. Definitely worth going! I adore the "mise en bouche" and the razor clam (absolutely beautiful and surprising). The spring lamb is fantastic. Best lamb I ever eaten in fact. I am not such a big fan of the desserts but they are very good nevertheless. This is a treat in the... More

From start to finish the evening was fantastic... A very warm welcome from the staff and good knowledge about what was on offer.. A small menu but filled with delights.. Squab Pigeon starter, Suckling Roast Pig and the best Cheese board I have seen in a long time.... And they were just some of the treats available. Each part of... More

This was a wonderful experience from start to finish. As a vegetarian, I didn't get a choice and was simply given the one veggie option for each course but the food was so outstanding that I was more than happy to have each course as it presented to me. I would love to have the opportunity to return here, and... More

We stayed for one night and ate the taster menu. Every course was outstanding, truly seasonal, seriously inventive and downright delicious. Friendly and skilled service, a good welcome and a nice room. Wine list is fairly priced and with some interesting choices, particularly for red, and all-in was pretty good value for this quality. A strong 1*, and we will... More

Loved the champagne bar and the appetisers which were imaginative and delicious. We chose the lunch menu and had a super meal with local produce, beautifully served and presented. A very knowledgeable restaurant manager who clearly had a passion for the food and accompanying drinks. My companion was a Head Chef who has rather exacting standards but who was delighted... More

I've been wanting to try the Raby Hunt for a while but could never get booked when phoning up a few days in advance so we booked a while ago and boy was it worth it! Great welcome, good selection of unusual non alcoholic drinks & a good wine list. Food was FANTASTIC - well presented and really really tasty... More
