We only live a mile away from this site, we use it as a mini break and new camping equipment tester, the staff are helpful and welcoming, the facilities are clean and well maintained, and the site seems pretty big, they have 2 fishing lakes all be it very small with carp maximum of about 2lbs, but still passes the... This camp site is in a fabulous location. Unfortunately it was very very noisy. Loud thumping music all day/evening and nobody in authority to ask people to turn it down. Would definitely stop me going there again or recommending it. Met two pleasant shop girls but no other staff. It all seemed a bit wild and free for all.

Campsite is set in a beautiful wooded area. Staff are really friendly, and were very helpful. They repaired my daughters bike, We did get to choose our lovely spot near the lake, and they were very helpful giving information on local shops, bus times etc.... The Bus stop is right outside campsite.

On arrival, reception was unmanned, so we 'booked in' by phone. As it was our first visit, it would have been good to have been given some information regarding the availability of on-site facilities. On booking, we were allocated two pitches but when we arrived one was already occupied, which seemed strange. The shower and toilet block was cleaned a... More

We are local to this site but just wanted a weekends camping to try out our new tent. This site is a hidden gem of rustic charm with plenty of pitches nestling amongst the trees giving a feeling of camping out in the woods. Some of the facilities weren't open due to it being out of season but toilets, showers... More

Campsite was very pretty. Pool and bar shut for duration of my visit. Sadly water was tepid at best and toilet roll not replenished. Washing up area not clean. Shop not well stocked but early in season so may improve.
