We stayed at this park for a weekend and really enjoyed the tranquility of the site. It is surrounded by woodlands and lakes you can fish in. There is an outdoor pool, with heated water and tennis courts. Pitches are set six metres apart, which allows plenty of room for awnings and privacy. The facilities are clean and appropriate for... We only stayed one night en route to France but we found Beacon Hill to be an excellent site with great facilities with a warm welcome thrown in. It has it's own fishing lake and bar. Showers and washing up areas were super clean. They had specific dog friendly areas. The dog walk up the hill through the pine forest... More

We are a family of four, our children are 6 and 3years old. We love camping here for long weekends! We have a large tent and opt for the electric hook up, the pitches are grass and a really decent size. The woodland setting is lovely and our kids love playing in the trees and love the park. The lake... More

We have been visiting Beacon Hill for the last few years and love it. The campsite is REAL camping no perfect pitches, natural woodland setting and feels like home from home. Never been one to use the clubhouse but when we have its been a real relaxed friendly atmosphere which we have all enjoyed. Many times we have seen other... More

We stayed there for 7nights in June this year(2014) the setting of the site was second to none set in woodland with plenty of walks for our dog(would strongly recommend this site if you're a dog owner)the staff were very polite and helpful, the site would benefit by adding more hard standing pitches and clearer defined numbers for the pitches,Ross the... We stayed for a weekend in June. Had a great time, friendly staff, idilic landscape, lots of trees, no regimented pitch spaces makes for a more natural camping experience, will be returning next time we're in Dorset.

I really liked this campsite, a great setting in woodland with play areas and fishing ponds and an outdoor pool. - BUT if you are used to caravan club regimented standards you may not. Pitches are not clearly signed and there only a few hardstanding pitches- which means if there has been lots of rain puddles and obviously mud. The... More

Dear James Thanks for your feedback it is greatly appreciated, you maybe interested to know that we have recently dredged the lakes and taken a lot of the weed out now as part of our new refurbishment program.
