We stayed for one night and found it suited our needs. Easy to find. Parking. Lovely local pub with a couple of rooms. Really friendly owners and bar staff. The room was a good size with tea, coffee, water and biscuits. Towels, toiletries and hairdryer supplied. Comfy bed. TV with Sky channels. Our only gripe (which we forgot to mention) was... More

We found this little place on the internet by chance. Stayed for 2 nights and found it very pleasant. Great location walked to the shopping center and quay in minutes. Pleasant hosts, clean room and good breakfast.

Just returned from 3 nights and thoroughly enjoyed it. Mick and Lisa very nice social hosts rooms very adequate and clean with a lovely comfortable bed. Location was great with only a short walk to the Quay (maybe 600 meters) but if you want to stay on the Quay the price doubles. One thing is if you are a light... More

Good location, fantastic parking.Rooms need to be updated but they are clean. Pub underneath very quite , looks much better from inside than outside. Breakfast not included we had to pay extra. Overall for me it is overpriced.

Stayed for 2 nights. The pub when we stayed was very quiet and it was in a really good location. Within walking distance from the high street and harbour. Staff were really friendly, nothing was too much trouble. It was also good for parking. Room was clean. Plenty of tea, coffee and biscuits in the room.

We stayed at the Queen Mary Inn for one night over the Bank Holiday. The Poole visit was a last minute decision and the Queen Mary had the only room available in the Quay area. We took 'pot luck' but what a lucky find. The Queen Mary is a quiet local pub, 150 yards off the High Street and a... More

We used the Queen Mary Inn as a stop off before going to France. It was just right. Free parking,Free WI FI and comfortable rooms meant we woke up refreshed for our holiday. The staff and customers were friendly, The home cooked steak and ale pie was to die for washed down with good real ale. We were only disappointed... More
