The room we had was gorgeous. Had the biggest bed ever, a roll top bath, walk in shower and separate toilet. Really clean. Exceeded our expectations. Only negative which in fairness we did not raise with Reception. We parked in an NCP (because having called ahead were told there was no parking left at the hotel). Upon checking in our... More

A great hotel in a good location. Lovely comfy bed (would like to know what size it seemed massive!)Staff very attentive without being obtrusive. Nothing was too much trouble for them and they seemed generaly interested in your enjoyment. Full cooked breakfast was good quality.

This hotel represents excellent value for money and the maitre d" Graham is a credit to his company. He makes you feel welcome and important. I was celebrating my birthday and the meal and room was perfect. Breakfast was also excellent. My only complaint was the car park was full when we arrived. However there was public parking right next... More

My partner & stayed there for the weekend to celebrate my special birthday, in September. We had been there to eat in the evening before, but this was our first stay at the hotel. Everything about it was wonderful and the standard of excellence was consistent throughout all aspects of our stay. Fabulous rooms, wonderful restaurant and bar, superb staff... More

Located next to Poole quay the hotel is sat in a great location and easy to go for walks or pop into old town etc. Rooms are great and spacious and quiet (I was at the top floor). Food was very good quality and very tasty, service was polite but sluggish but overall I would want to eat there again!... More

Although well placed in Poole for the harbour area and shopping areas the holtel itself is somewhat overpriced for what it offers. Our room was quite small and overlooked the car park/Bistro. The windows were not double glazed so the group of people conversing loudly outside the Bistro until around 1am kept us awake. Check in was a little chaotic... More

Dear chris b, I am really sorry to hear that your stay has not been as enjoyable as we all have wished. I have been made aware of the potential noise on the terrace the next morning and our night porter assures me that he has spoken to your fellow guests and has been checking on them to keep the... Unfortunately I stayed at Hotel du Vin-Poole only for one night because it was a short stay. The hotel is really nice and well decorated. The location is great and the hotel has a view on Poole harbour. The breakfast is really good with a good selection of cooked food. Good value for money, highly recommended!!!

This a wonderful hotel set on the edge of the main business district of Poole. It is well located with easy access to shops and pubs. The hotel specialises in wine tasting and has very well appointed common areas for dinning and socialising. The room was large with a wonderful bathroom. Staff were friendly and more than happy to help.

My wife and I have just had a wonderful 2 night break here. We would stay again and would bring our children, the menu was very children friendly and I understand we could even bring the dog! The staff were all very friendly and very hospitable. The restaurant was excellent for dinner and breakfast, you don't have to have the... More

This was our second visit to the hotel. Both times, we received excellent service, a magnificent room and wonderful food. The building is so interesting too. Hotel du Vin have never failed us. Parking is limited but you are told that in advance and there are plenty of car parks in the town. We wouldn't hesitate to book again.
