I've been here a couple of times, this time really let things down. Main points below: 1.when booking they failed to tell me there was a wedding on so half of the hotel was closed off 2.room was very tired, poor quality windows and office tile ceiling 3.kids running around shouting by the pool and in the hot tub even... This hotel has the most fabulous location and I thoroughly enjoyed my 3 night break, this is our second stay and I'm left slightly frustrated by what I see as wasted opportunities to make the best experience for guests. The room was spacious and well equipped with a large balcony, where you could watch the coming and going of the... More

Just stayed for a single night. Old fashioned hotel in a stunning location. The sun was shining and the water clear and blue. My room was of a decent size but probably furthest from reception - rooms I stay in always seem to be! The room overlooked both the car park and tennis courts with a partial sea view. Im... More

Just had 4 days of sunshine and relaxation at this lovely spot, truly there is no location to beat it. We were checked in efficiently and our luggage whisked upstairs. We knew exactly which room we had having discussed the layout and room types when booking directly with the hotel, we chose a partial sea view and it was well... More

This slightly old fashioned hotel offers you everything you could possibly need for a stay by the coast. We were lucky to have fantastic weather so the heated outdoor pool, with plenty of seating for sunbathing was really appreciated. The location of this hotel is wonderful, overlooking Brownsea Island and truly English countryside. We stayed on a Bed & Breakfast... More

This hotel does not make the most of its beautiful location. We were guests for one night only. We were given room 307. The room itself was ok but blisteringly hot. We opened the windows and got blasted away by the noise of the machinery in what can only be described as the rubbish yard outside. There was no attempt... More

The amazing seaside location of Haven Hotel and the general atmosphere of Sandbanks offset the some things, which would have been unacceptable elsewhere. 1- The safe of the room was broken. 2-Carpet was dirty. 3- Very basic amenities (we had to ask for toothbrushes) 4-A waiter tried to take my plate while I was literary, physically working on my breakfast.... The hotel is in a lovely location. The swimming pool area is very nice too. The rooms are in a very good size with a large bathroom and very clean. The bath was very slippery and not anti slip mat as most of the hotel with this kind of bath offer. My elderly aunt and her daughter was travelling with... More

We went to stay at The Haven as a repeat guest for my birthday this weekend - to say I was diappointed was an understatment. The room we were allocated was absolutely dreadful - basic and threadbare. I recently stayed in a Premier Inn which offered a far greater sense of luxury than this place. The "view" was of the... More

Just returned from my Father's Day lunch (along with my wife) fully replete - having been the guest of my son, daughter-in-law, and our grandson. So, I suppose, it was a double celebration, my son also being a father in his own right. The luncheon was very good indeed, with wide choices of the three courses offered, and at a... More
