Over the course of a year we go to several weekend events at different venues. Some of the Hotels chosen by the organisers have seen better days, especially on the South Coast of England What a pleasant surprise to find the HAVEN HOTEL. We were greeted like valued customers from the off and all the staff really seem eager to... More

Booked with Laterooms a Harbour view with balcony double room, when given the key to room 304 it was a seaview no balcony room, I then went to reception where I was told its what laterooms had advised them we were having, I assured the receptionist that I definitely had booked a harbour view room with balcony and showed her... Attended a large gathering so went with no expectations. Our room was a little on the small side but didn't matter. Television didn't work for a few rooms which was irritating. Surprisingly the breakfast was very good and dinner for forty was excellent. The hotel had organised a band which was very good. Almost no facilities for disabled - not... More

We came for a winter weekend away forum birthday . We had a sea view room & we were treated to an amazing sunset view just after arriving. Despite it being a dismal January weekend we enjoyed a warm welcome & two amazing meals in the restaurant. Also enjoyed lovely bracing walks just a two minute ferry ride away on... More

Stayed for just one night, our room was on the second floor with balcony. The room was spacious and the bed comfortable. Great views across the entrance to Poole harbour. Most staff were helpful. We used the spa which was lovely although the layout was a little odd. Overall a good stay and we would return.

Traveling on my own, I'm sometimes made to feel a bit isolated by hotels..... Not here. Great service. Especially by the restaurant, where the lovely front of house seated me in a secluded area next to the fish tank..... Great company :-) Chicken liver mouse was fantastic , as was the duck. Room was clean and spacious with a great... More

Great hotel with one of the best locations in the uk, the staff were exceptional from the moment we checked in. We had a really nice modern room with a sea view. We did have a problem with the shower tap, we phoned down and someone was with us within minutes. They helped with a temporary solution and also offered... More

A once great hotel is now looking a little tired, particulary in the communal parts. However, having said that our room was clean and modern, with the usual extras you would expect from this class of hotel. The view from the bar and restaurant is wonderful. Whilst it was too cold to do so during our visit it would have... More
