We spent a few days at the Haven last week and really enjoyed it.We were also lucky with the weather it was warm and sunny. On arrival we were greeted by a young man(sorry didnt get his name) he was so pleasant, friendly and helpful he made us feel welcome straight away. The breakfast was good, and we also had two evening meals... More

Everything about this hotel is special. The location the air and not forgetting the beach.Than you enter what we could only describe as a hidden gem.A place with the feel of a professionally run hotel with a difference. This is what makes this place so great.Smile after smile after smile we encountered from all the really friendly staff that seem to go... Stayed at the Haven for 1 night in April for a romantic break with my husband. Ate in the bar while the room was being prepared. Nice soup but the coffee was small and cost £3.15!!! The Hotel is tired and the exterior in need of some re decorating. That said the sun loungers and beds are lovely so would... More

Stayed here for two nights, good room, nice staff, great views. But seriously let down on the Saturday by the noise from a wedding at 11pm at night still going strong. We had room 124 right above the venue if thinking of booking this hotel make sure to check whether there is a wedding and either give it a miss... More

The amount of complaints I have had to make is astronomical. The service in the restaurant is slow, the food is not fit for a 4 star hotel and the price is somewhat of a joke. The bedrooms are small, the beds are uncomfortable and the water pressure in the shower is equivalent to the dribble of a hungry dog.... More

If you would like a sea view with your cream tea £8.95 sister hotel Sandbanks is cheaper and the scones are much better. There is a bar which looks over the harbour/ferry to studland. We order a round of sandwiches with salmon and crab. It took 28 mins to be told there was no crab left. When the sandwich came... More

Had Haven afternoon tea. Slow service. Food good particularly scones but didn't meet expectations set from website visuals. Would have expected better China, polished cake stand, and a bit more umph! Setting deserves better.

Poor bed, Poor food 20min wait for breakfast, Two many staff apart from the reception staff, who can't communicate in English, Don't what to stay in a £169 a night room where I can hear the guess in the next room using the toilet, hotel doesn't match up to the location

We loved the Haven Hotel. I stayed there with my husband for two nights in the last week of March on their winter warmer offer, which was very good value. We had paid for the upgrade to a superior room with balcony and sea view which was well worth it, as we had a wonderful big balcony ( room 118)... More

Needs a complete refurbishment and good clean. The spa changing rooms are filthy and showers have cracked tiles and the pool chlorine levels seem to be mixed wrongly as ones skin burns and the smell is so strong. The bedroom bathrooms are tired and old, need modernising. The afternoon tea priced at £15.50 pp needs to be a good standard,... More
