We stayed at Harlequins for 6 nights while visiting family. The welcome by Gill was lovely, the house very nicely decorated and everything was spotless. The bedroom was comfortable and roomy with a very nice en-suite. Breakfast was outstanding with a great selection of cereals and lovely fresh fruit. Gill also catered for our gluten free needs. Very highly recommended.

We stayed a night at Harlequins en route for Purbeck. The house is in a good location, with a lovely garden, for Poole old town and the quay. We had a very comfortable and relaxing bedroom - and tea and home made cake on arrival was very welcome after a tiring drive. The next day we took the chain ferry... More

Gill and Clive have run Harlequins for several years and are keen to ensure each guest is made welcome and offered an excellent service - on... More

A very clean, spacious room fitted with all the mod-cons you could need. After having driven down from Glasgow, I was offered a cup of tea and a slice of cake on arrival; which went down a treat. The breakfast was made to order and the pancakes I asked for were delicious; as well as offering tea/coffee, cereals etc. I... More

We had a lovely clean room with very good quality bedding, crystal glasses and bone china cups. The shower was very efficient and there was everything available to make our stay memorable. I was particularly impressed by the breakfast, the table ornaments were delightful. Being a vegetarian is sometimes awkward, but Gill even had vegetarian sausages to substitute meat products.... I stayed here for four nights whilst working in Poole. I had the room at the back overlooking the garden. It is a good sized room and has plenty of space. There is tea/coffee making facilities and a TV with Freeview. The ensuite bathroom is excellent. Overall, - really nice hosts, get the feeling they could not do enough for... More
