My husband and I stayed here on our wedding night almost 2 years ago and were very impressed with the property and the hospitality of the owner. Our room (the Blue room) was a very generous size with very comfortable bed and a good selection of reading material, although this was not actually used by us!
As the property is very old, the floors and walls are slightly wonky, but this only added to the already huge amount of charm this hotel has. We arrived after dinner but the owner very kindly made us some lasagne and salad, which we followed with a walk around the beautiful grounds and garden.
The following morning a very substantial breakfast was served and we can honestly say it was a wonderful setting for our first night together as husband and wife.
The room had a lovely bathroom with an enormous bath, and there were toiletries for our use.

I would be happy to recommend this hotel to anyone wanting peace, quiet, and a wonderfully relaxing time.
