What can i say! this hotel, if you could call it that, is not equiped for early/late departures or check ins! We stayed here only last week for the National Hotrod weekend which was taking place in Ipswich! We stayed here because basically, it was all that was left! having emailed the hotel regularly on the week leading up to... more

Booked a superior room online, but on check in was given a standard (room 6). This room has a significantly sloping floor and would have made for an uncomfortable sleep as the bed had the same slope as the floor and I would have ended up on the floor in the middle of the night!! Was offered another room that... more

Room clean , bed comfortable. breakfast good, staff polite and friendly. hot water supply spartan, tho electric shower made up for this. in noisy surroundings but not too bad. Cheap n Cheerful certainly but not as bad as some. Would stay again, and the restaurant noodles looked and smelled good, worth it just for the food. Not the best hotel... more

Do not go here! The room number 2 was at the front of the hotel and from midnight until 4am we were unable to sleep due to the yobs turning out from the clubs. Then at 6am the stall holders started to set up the market!!! The room was very cramped and tatty. The bathroom was old and needs a... more

Well, the room was actually OK, nice big bed and clean, this hotel is perfect for a cheap stay over, and ideally situated right in the town centre. It had the usual coffee/tea facilities, TV (which was hoisted so high on the wall it nearly touched the celing), decent shower etc. However, if you are staying on a Friday or... more

Well what can I say that hasn’t already been said – To be fair the hotel I thought was quite nice, clean room big bed and to make a bit of a change had a Chinese noodle restaurant instead of a pub which made a nice change from the normal Steak & Chips, The staff were really friendly and polite... more

Okay. So now I have your attention.. Lucky me, asked to deliver training in Ipswich and I was booked in here. In my colleagues defence, she used a web-search for a hotel...and the rest is history. I would suggest any other hotel unless you are desperate. Centrally located, but that doesn't mean easy to get to in "one-way" Ipswich. Single... more

If you stay at this hotel - and my most sincere advice would be not to - make sure everything that is supposed to be in your room is in there! I didn't, and a few days after returning home found that they had overcharged me. Thinking that this would be a simple error I called and a rather rude... more

I agree with the previous comments, but then you pay £26 per night, so what do you expect? The funniest thing for me was that, during the night every 10 mins a bag of bottles was thrown into a metal skip clanging and crashing, then two drunk girls stumbled out of the pub slagging each other off, then people stomped... more
