We should have know really by how cheap the holiday was, but I really didn't expect the rooms to be quite so bad. We had a sea front family room for four. The view was the only upside to this. The beds were utterly terrible! We ended up buying blow up mattresses which helped slightly. The bath room was usable,... More

I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone. The only good thing I have to say about this hotel is that the staff are lovely and it's in a good location. In my room as soon as we opened a draw it broke, the rooms smelt, we had a hole in the curtain and the room had stains and damp all... More

How this place is still operating is a complete mystery, forget the hotel inspector, this place needs to be condemned! Are there no regulations that need to be passed? The rooms are beyond terrible, no clean bedsheets, no clean towels, no toilet paper or hot water. The furniture is broken, the TV doesn't work and lamps have no bulbs in... More

My wife and I celebrated her 70th Birthday at the Whitehouse Monday June 2nd 2014. Once again the hospitality shown to us by Paul Jackie and staff was second to none. Paul and Jackie really made Gwens birthday a very memorable one. Thank you to you both. We also enjoyed our break with you from June 30th to July 4th.... More

This hotel has seen better days, 2 star rated and only the food warrants this. The room was awful, not just dated but decrepit, sash windows held open by a lump of wood, paint on valance, chairs dirty with muck and paint, mould, stains throughout. Cleanliness appalling, rubbish from previous occupants, carpets not vacuumed, beds not properly made, cracked Windows,... More
