This is a guest house on a street filled with other guest houses in identical buildings. What makes this one different is the tastefully decorated rooms and excellent service. Have stayed at the Del Mar on a number of occasions and always been greeted with warm welcomes from the hosts Keith and Fiona. The rooms are tastefully decorated, spotless, comfortable beds and a lot of attention to detail has gone into ensuring guests enjoy their stay. This was my first visit to the Del-Mar, as I was working in the area, the rooms were spotlessly clean, we were made most welcome by the hosts, & though we were starting early every morning, before the normal breakfast time, Fiona made us provided us with a breakfast. well done!!!

Being a family of four, we normally stay in Travelodges when we go for a short break but the price, cleanliness & standard of accomadation offered by the Del-Mar puts them in the shade.
