Stayed two nights over the Halloween weekend in room #10. We experienced a warm welcome and complementary tea and biscuits in the residents lounge. We had paid extra for room #10 as it was larger than other rooms (I believe), had a view towards Snowdonia from the window and a sofa for relaxing on when watching TV or DVDs. The... more

Very friendly hosts, decor to a very high standard, and an all round excellent experience. The room was massive, ensuite large and very clean. The lounge bar was excellent value, with little, if any, mark up on the drinks prices that you'd find in a supermarket. There was wireless internet in our room which we had no difficulty in using.... more

The Lansdowne sounds a really lovely hotel and I really wanted to stay there, unfortunately on 3 consecutive days I''ve been put through to an answerphone and having left a message yesterday morning leaving my number for someone to call me back, no-one has. more

Management response from
margaret bromilow, owner

In the early part of October the hotel was closed for 6 days due to family commitments, this information was clearly displayed on the late availability page of the Hotel web site. During the closure the hotel answer phone was checked on a regular basis and enquiries were responded to where appropriate. However during the early part of the break a...

Picked the hotel for its convenient position, having a car park and of course all the good reviews and we weren't disappointed. Could not believe what value for money this hotel gave from the welcome to the overall quality of the rooms, the furnishings, cleanliness and the excellent breakfast in the morning. more

My husband and I stayed at the Lansdowne for 2 nights Friday 24th and Saturday 25th July for our 12th wedding anniversay. The hotel is in a perfect location just 5 minutes walk to the promenade, the Great Orm and all the restaurants and bars. For the two nights we were there we felt like we were the only ones,... more

Rooms clean and nice touches like bottles of water and chocs on pillows and packet of biscuits on grandaughters bed. Plenty of tv choices. Large car park rare in Llandudno. The new owners have worked hard to make this a comfortable hotel with good breakfast and service. Lovely lounge and bar lounge. Very enjoyable stay. We have been once as... more

We decided to stay in the Lansdowne because it was close to all the amenities and especially the Great Orme. The Lansdowne as its own car park with ample parkin spaces. On our arrival we were met at the door by the Margaret 1 of the proprieters and shown our room, she allowed us to settle in and then offered... more

Only located a few minutes walk from Llandudno's centre and promenade, this B+B is good value for money. The rooms are a little smaller than they appear on their website, and the bathrooms would benefit from an update. However, the owners are really helpful and friendly, and the full English breakfast is excellent. more

Mr and Mrs Bromilow were the perfect hosts for our stay. We had to make some last minute changes to the numbers in our party and in the room arrangements; we found our needs met perfectly. The hotel is run with a friendly, welcoming style and every effort was made to ensure our break in Llandudno was relaxing and without... more
