Stayed in this hotel for the first time in March. We had a front room, 350, overlooking the pier and promanade. Lovely room, clean, warm and cosy. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Because the hotel was less than half full (mid week booking) the heating was on minimum which was unacceptable in December. In urgent need of a make over VERY noisy in early hours of the morning - 3.00am !!! Reception staff not customer friendly - particularly the mature woman . Bed very lumpy and uncomfortable. Bedroom smelt musty. Buffet breakfast was the only saving grace. more
