This is a great little hotel. The rooms are beautifully appointed with tasteful furnishings, and a bathroom with L'Occitane toiletries. Mark and Joni are friendly and welcoming hosts and breakfast is everything you can hope for. Llandudno is a great place from which to visit North Wales, so combine this with staying at the Clontarf and you have the makings... More

Stayed for two nights last weekend and had an amazing stay. If you have never stayed in the Clontarf before then you must give it a try. The Clontarf is a beautiful hotel in lovely quiet spot on the west shore and only a short walk from the centre of Llandudno. The owners Joni & Mark have thought of everything... More

We stayed here for just one night, but will definitely be returning. Everything about the Clontarf is spot on, from its location to the comfort of the beds! The hotel is situated on the West shore, so is quieter by night, but only a short walk from the hustle and bustle of the centre. It is surrounded by beautiful landscapes... More

Stayed over the bank holiday weekend with my dog & was looked after exceptionally well by the owners, who gave top tips on good walks in the area, (the west beach to Conwy being the best). Very clean hotel & all to a high standard - the fresh flowers everywhere were gorgeous. I can't recommend this place highly enough &... More

Just spent a weekend at this hotel found it to be as good as other reviewers had stated. We were greeted by the owner mark on our arrival, helped with our luggage and assisted with all are queries. This hotel is outstanding in every way, excellent accommodation to a very high standard, very well appointed. A good variety of food, both for breakfast and evening meals. Excellent friendly service from a husband and wife team. Have booked for next year.

As a single female travelling on business, reading through the previous reviews swayed my decision to stay here - and I'm so glad I did. From the time of booking to check out, the service is excellent. The hotel is beautifully decorated and a warm welcome awaits. Tea and coffee is offered on arrival which is a really nice touch... This amazing guesthouse is a little piece of luxury. The welcome was warm and friendly, the room huge and the interior well decorated. The jacuzzi bath was a godsend for my sore back. Breakfast was lovely with lots of choice. Not particularly close to the main promenade - at least a 15 minute walk.
