The hotel website is very impressive and informative. Booked directly with Marc over the phone. We received a warm welcome and felt very comfortable. The honesty bar is a a great idea, although we didn't us it. The room was very clean, with sea views. clean towels, toiletries and a lovely shower, it was just what we wanted for our... More

Our room was large with a Jacuzzi and a sofa. There was a living room for the guests to use on the ground floor next to the dining room. Breakfast had many choices and were well made. The hotel is about 1 mile fro the main part of town and an easy walk. The hosts were friendly and accommodating. This... More

Friendly hosts, lovely breakfasts with so much choice, very comfortable bed - we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. There were lovely touches such as biscuits, sweets, bottled water and fresh flowers in the room. We would certainly stay here again if we were in the area. We highly recommend it.

Just returned from a lovely night away in Llandudno. This was a very last minute trip which was made easier with the help of Marc and Joni who kindly and quickly got back to me despite being out celebrating their daughters birthday. They were excellent hosts, nothing was too much trouble for them. They made both of us and our... More

We are regular visitors to Llandudno but this was our first stay up on the west promenade. What a pleasant surprise! OK its quieter than the north promenade, but for us that was a plus. A 10 minute saunter takes you into town or a taxi is £2:60....,The Clontarf is an amazing hotel. Clean, fresh , well decorated and tastefully furnished. We... More

The Clontarf is situated on the west shore an easy 15 minute stroll to the centre of llandudno. Stayed in the sleigh bedroom with views of the Great Orme. A lovely hotel, clean well furnished with a great breakfast, will definitely return.

We have just returned from a few days holiday at this outstanding hotel. Once again, we cannot speak highly enough of the attentive service provided by the owners Joni and Mark. They really put themselves out to ensure that their guests have a relaxing break. We stayed in a superior room and were very impressed with the high standard of... More

The Clontarf Hotel is situated on Great Ormes Road within a couple on minutes walk of the much quieter West Shore in Llandudno. It is however only around a 10 minute walk from the busier North Shore, pier and town centre shops and restaurants. The hotel offers on site parking but there is plenty of free on road parking available... More

Thank you for your very detailed & comprehensive review. We take on board all your comments. We apologised on three separate occasions (including an attempt by phone to speak to the gentlemen who had been directly inconvenienced) for the oversight with the breakfast. I'm sorry you feel this can't be overlooked, however it was simply a case of a genuine... More
